Book with 3D Technology

Successful films three-dimensional (3D) Avatar and Alice in Wonderland in popularity and commercial push by researchers at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea, to develop the technology in the book. Thus, the characters in the book makes it possible to move, twist, jump and even, toward the reader.

According to the researchers, the book containing the folklore of Korea it must be read with special glasses. "As readers flip the book and enforce, its 3D animation can also be seen. It took three years to develop its software," said Kim Sang-cheol, head of the project.

Kim says, the technology can be used for all types of books. In fact, he said, the device can be used to display images via smart phones or museums. Unfortunately, we still have to wait long for the presence of the 3D book.

"It takes time for the marketing of this technology to the public," said Kim. "I also do not know the price of certain books, but the price would be affordable if mass produced".

Apple VS Nokia

Apple war with Nokia continues to the next stage. Apple iPhone producing a lawsuit filed to the International Trade Commission, an independent federal agency of the United States, which mengeksaminasi issue of fraudulent trade practices involving patent infringement, trademark and copyright: Apple asks Nokia barred from entering the United States.

It posted a new lawsuit in December 2009 after then, Nokia gave the lawsuit to the same agency in Washington. Finnish company accuses Apple has violated seven patents Nokia "in all phones, portable music players and computers" and demanded the prohibition of imports iPhone, iPod and MacBook.

Responding to the latest action Apple, Nokia spokesman Mark Durrant said as reported by Cnet.com, "Nokia will learn." However Nokia insists, Apple has barged Nokia technology.

Back out to the back, in October 2009, the two companies arguing over patents on Trade Commission. Nokia filed suit in District Court in Delaware, United States, about 10 patents related to wireless devices that say Nokia, Apple refused to ask for permission. Ten patents, the Nokia accused Apple has barged so devices capable of operating in GSM, 3G, and Wifi networks. And Nokia asked each iPhone fined.

Apple responded with a lawsuit accusing Nokia copy iPhone technology. Apple accuses Nokia of violating a patent, the signal processing method of real-time to the scrolling on the touch screen display.

The more exciting battle for market analysis in November found the Apple managed to beat Nokia in mobile phone sales. Apple succeeded handful of U.S$ 1.6 billion from the iPhone, while the Nokia U.S$ 1.1 billion.

"Yes, we've lost in the smart phone for 18 months, but the decline has stopped and stabilized since the second trimester and ketiag 2009," said Rick Simonson, chief mobile Nokia.

Open Jobs, Apple's Prepare iPhone LTE

Rumors about Apple preparing iPhone 4G which will come in the summer is bustling in circulation. However, the rumors are getting closer to reality.
quoted from Product-Reviews, March 28, 2010, Apple has opened the job and looking for personnel for the position of Software Manager of Cellular Technology with the knowledge and experience in some areas. Including in the field of WCDMA / UMTS, HSPA, HSPA +, LTE and others.

Although this does not mean Apple will bring HSPA + features and LTE on the phone the next iPhone, but this certainly proves that Apple is planning to make phones that support these technologies.

As we all know, AT & T, the operator of Apple's closest partners are more inclined to mobile technology LTE as next-generation data or 4G. However, I have found no further details of how long they take time to implement it across their networks.

Predictably, the new AT & T will launch LTE technology held in the next 2011 years. While today, operators are still working hard to improve their 3G coverage.

Job vacancies listed does not mean Apple iPhone 4G comes predicted in the mid of this year will have these features, but this certainly is not a bad thing. Although iPhone users actually prefer to get performance better battery and video call compared with data rates higher.

GM Designed a Car That Able Walking Alone

General Motors announced a concept vehicle two-wheeled future that can be run automatically, without the need to drive the driver manually.
The car named EN-V (Networked-Electric Vehicle) is designed to anticipate future conditions, as a solution to environmental problems, road density and traffic accidents.

This projection is based on General Motors in 2030, where about 60 percent of the 8 billion people now living in urban areas, so that weighed heavily on public transportation infrastructure.

"EN-V is a combination of electrification and connectivity, providing solutions for urban mobility, because the driving experience offers gasoline and emissions-free, free density and traffic accidents, as well as providing fun and style," said Kevin Wale, president of General Motors China, such as quoted from Computerworld.

Working concept car by General Motors in cooperation with Shanghai Industry Corporation Group (SAIC) was built on a platform developed by Segway, a company that developed the two-wheeled electric vehicles are quite popular in the United States

EN-V is a vehicle that can be driven manually or automatically operated (drive-by-wire). Small vehicle around a third of the size of traditional vehicle was equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) technology inter-vehicle communications, as well as proximity sensor technology.

This vehicle could also reduce the density of traffic, with the ability automatically to choose the fastest route based on destination information highway density of real-time.

With sensors and camera system that has, EN-V is claimed to map out the situation around and able to react quickly to overcome obstacles or changes in circumstances that are happening.

For example, if there is a pedestrian who suddenly crossed in front of the vehicle, EN-V immediately reduce speed to a safer conditions, even able to stop earlier than vehicles that exist today. This made passenger vehicles can be more secure from accidents.

This concept car is also equipped with wireless communication systems so that passengers can communicate with the vehicle to their friends through social networking, during the trip.

Vehicles weighing about 500 kg is powered by an electric motor capable of carrying two passengers and light baggage. Like cell phones, energy supplied by a lithium-ion battery, so that absolutely no emissions.

To recharge the battery, the car owner simply connecting the EN-V into a standard outlet like the one in every home. Every time the battery fully charged, the car was able to travel distances of up to 40 kilometers.

Three models of cars EN-V; the EN-V Pride, EN-V Magic, and EN-V Laugh, will be exhibited at the Shanghai World Expo 2010, between May 1 to October 31 2010.

Previously, General Motors itself has developed a vehicle that can drive itself automatically (autonomous vehicle), along with students at Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburgh United States that produces the Chevrolet Tahoe vehicle, aka 'The Boss' in 2007.

Why a Sudden Fainting

Some people may experience symptoms of dizziness when sitting or standing, nausea, cold sweat and pale skin before finally unconscious. Why the body can suddenly become unconscious?

Fainting is a natural defense mechanism of the body. This usually occurs when the blood supply and oxygen is very low in the brain. Because of this, the brain functions will be blocked and will also affect other organs in the body.

In most cases, fainting is the way the body facing a terrible situation as a last attempt to minimize the damage that occurs in the body.

In everyday language, collapse is defined as a condition in which people lose consciousness. This can be caused by many factors.

In some cases, fainting does not indicate a serious health problem. However, that does not mean it to be taken lightly.

As reported by the buzzle, there are several causes and ways of dealing fainted, namely:

1. Postural hypotension is a common condition. This happens when someone has been sitting for a while and then suddenly experience a feeling dizzy when standing.

2. Severe dehydration also causes fainting. This is especially seen in children are a lot of outdoor sports during the summer. The loss of fluid is translated lack of blood available in the brain and muscles. Decrease in blood volume is the cause fainting in children.

3. Anemia is a condition of lack of a red blood cells or hemoglobin. This causes a lack of oxygen reaching brain that causes fainting.

4. Any type of change in heart rhythm can result in fluctuations in the amount of blood pumped to various parts of the body or which is called arrhythmia. Condition of the heart valves can also cause arrhythmia, again which can cause changes in liver function. The availability of oxygen in the body's sudden decline can cause fainting.

5. Mild heart attack or any kind of sudden cardiac death can also cause a person to faint.

6. Vasovagal syncope or neurocardiogenic syncope is a condition in which blood pressure drops due to the vagus nerve action and make people faint. This is usually seen when a person suddenly heard bad news or to see bloody images, and others.

7. Fainting during pregnancy is also commonly occur. There are many factors that lead to fainting during pregnancy. Malnutrition, anemia, back for a long time, can cause fainting during pregnancy.

8. Decrease in blood sugar causes a sudden decrease of available glucose for brain function. This can be seen in Diabetics who tend to overdose of insulin. If people lose a close, may be Tempted to take extra insulin dose to make up the missed dose. In such cases, the blood sugar tends to fall suddenly, and makes people become insulin shock.

9. Occupational syncope is fainting due to a trigger that is the normal body functions, such as coughing, Sneezing, falling off the stool, straining during bowel movements, or others.

10. Electrolyte imbalance in the body can also make a person feel dizzy. This is because the concentration changes in the body fluids and also directly affect blood pressure in the body.

11. Sometimes, someone fainted as a result of an allergic reaction to some medication or treatment.

The symptoms of fainting can be seen when a person experiences dizziness when sitting or standing, nausea, loss of heat, cold, sweating, and pale skin before they were going to faint.

Some people also experience symptoms like fainting blurred vision, visual representation of the spots in front of the eyes and dilated pupils, and a low pulse of 60 beats / min.

In some cases, fainting symptoms in adults such as black stools, heavy menstruation, vomiting, diarrhea and fever.

It could also be symptoms such as palpitations (fast heartbeat and irregular), chest pain, shortness of breath, pulse weak and abnormal, headache, loss of balance or coordination, talk mess and double vision.

Incontinence, confusion, tinnitus (ringing or a sensation exploded in one or both ears), bit his tongue, and ongoing seizures are several factors that occurred before fainting.

The first step should be taken there unconscious is:
1. Restores consciousness by giving smells like perfume or stinging eucalyptus oil.
2. Create a head lower than the feet so that blood can flow to the brain
3. If the victim passed out vomit tilted her head to smooth the path can breath again.
4. If you are aware give water to drink.

But if someone was going to faint could lay down and put his feet up. This will help keep blood flowing to the brain that prevent fainting.

Can also sit down with him and put my head between my knees for some cases can help. If dehydration is the cause of fainting include plenty of fluids to be most useful.

But if it is in a collapsed condition should seek medical help. If the cause is not serious enough, there is generally no treatment is needed.

However, in cases of recurrent can be helped with the help of medication. Your doctor may prescribe blood pressure medications, antidepressants, blood vessels and the use of certain therapies.

Operations with Stem Cells Performed in Boys

English and Italian doctors made a breakthrough with the recovery operation windpipe of a boy aged 10 years using stem cells grown in the body.
Operations put the donor trachea lasted nine hours in the hospital Great Ormond Street, London. In the trachea planted stem cells taken from the patient's bone marrow. Stem cell next month is expected to transform into tracheal cells.

The boy was born with the condition suffer from long segment tracheal stenosis throat, where the hole is very small because they do not grow, likened him to breathe through a straw.

He received various medical treatment, but him condition continued to deteriorate until last november. Finally he referred to a stem cell pioneer University Hospital Careggi in Florence, Italy.

If successful this becomes a revolutionary regenerative medicine. In traditional transplants frequent rejection by the immune system organs of the patient. "This the first time a child is receiving treatment with stem cells. It was a historical landmark" said Professor Martin Birchall, Head of Translational Regenerative Medicine University College London.

Cell development in the new body will be undertaken twice and the boy was the second patient. According to cardiac surgeon, Professor Martin Elliot of Great Ormond Street, good condition and breathing comfortably.

Tomatoes may prevent cancer

Tomatoes are good for our health. Tomatoes are rich in potassium, vitamin A, vitamin C and lycopene which work as antioxidants to protect cells in our bodies. Tomatoes are also low in calories.

Harvard Research in 1995 showed that men who consume a lot of tomatoes have lower risk of prostate cancer. This is the effect of lycopene. Related lycopene vitamin A.

According to the American Cancer Society, there is strong evidence that many foods contain lycopene to help prevent lung cancer and stomach. There is also evidence that lycopene may prevent some cancers.

Tomatoes Good for the Heart
Antioxidants found in fruits and colorful plants can help keep our hearts, including tomatoes. Research shows that people with low lycopene in the body is more at risk of heart disease. Inflammasi lycopene can reduce LDL cholesterol and lower, where they can keep maintaining the health of our hearts.

Asleep The HIV Virus with Acne Drug

Researchers at Johns Hopkins found that a safe and inexpensive antibiotics commonly used to treat acne since the 1970s can make HIV or the virus that causes AIDS was asleep and prevent virus reactivation and replication.

Antibiotic drug called minocycline may improve current treatment regimens for HIV-infected patients when used in combination drug standards based HAART (Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy). The new research published online this will be printed in the Journal of Infectious Diseases edition April 15.

Strong profits using minocycline is that the virus that appears less so that they can develop drug resistance because minocycline is a target in the cell lines rather than viral proteins, says Janice Clements, Ph.D., vice dean of faculty and professor of molecular and Comparative Pathobiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, as quoted from MedicalNewsToday.

According to Clements, a big challenge when treating patients with HIV is the virus that remains locked in the inactive state. ART (Antiretroviral Therapy) really effective damping replication (duplicate) active, minocycline is another way to defense against viruses.

Unlike drugs used in therapy that targets the virus, the target of minocycline is immune cells known as T cells According to Clements, minocycline reduces the ability of T cells to the active and multiply, two important steps in the production and development of HIV into AIDS.

ART usually can protect people with HIV from the hospital, but it was not a drug. HIV virus is maintained at a low level but never fully cleared. The virus is still secretly lurking on immune cells. If a person stops taking HAART or miss a dose, the virus can be active again, out of the cells and the immune system began to spread.

The idea for using minocycline in addition to HAART appears when Hopkins research team conducts research on rheumatic patients who showed anti-inflammatory effects of minocycline on T cells.

Tim Hopkins connects with previous studies, which showed that minocycline treatment has many beneficial effects on SIV-infected monkeys, the primate version of HIV. Monkeys treated with minocycline, the virus load in cerebrospinal fluid and viral RNA in the brain significantly decreased. It also shows the influence of activation and proliferation of T cells.

Because minocycline can reduce T cell activation, you might think it would harm the immune system in monkeys, which is very similar to humans, but we did not see adverse effects, said Gregory Szeto, a graduate student in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine who worked at the Retrovirus Laboratory Hopkins.

He thinks these drugs in a good balance, and ideal for HIV because the target is very specific aspects of immune system activation.

The success of the monkey studies encourage the team to learn whether minocycline treatment effect on latency in human T cells infected by HIV. The team uses human cells infected with HIV on HAART, isolated immune cells are "resting" and treated with minocycline half.

"Minocycline reduces the ability of the virus to exit infected T cells are resting," Szeto. This prevents the virus to escape on the person using ART, and therefore can prevent activation of the virus, to maintain the level of viral latency or even lower.

Prevent Disturbance of Health By Drinking Water

The water has important health benefits such as improving cognitive abilities, prevention of stone and bladder infections to prevent obesity. Prevent health disorders with adequate water minur.
Water is the largest component in the human body. Contents vary according to age, such as the infant is 80 percent water, in adults by 60 percent and in old age or above 65 years by 50 percent.

Water is also an essential nutrient for healthy body because it acts as a solvent, catalyst, lubricant, regulating body temperature and the provider of minerals and electrolytes.
Lack of water 1 percent of known weight with dehydration. This condition causes the body electrolyte imbalance is characterized by dizziness, fatigue, decreased physical and cognitive abilities as well as health problems.

While dehydration at 2 percent decline in the level of body fluids due to hot weather and exercise can lower the concentration, a second memory (short-term memory) and moving visual perception (visual motor tracking).

Drinking water and safe enough to optimize the health of various organs of the body so it can produce as much as 2 liters of urine a day that proved to prevent kidney stones.

Based on epidemiological studies indicate that the body of waste water at least 2 liters. For that every adult should consume 2-3 liters of water a day depending on the temperature and physical activity.

Soft drinks, beer and apple juice increased the risk of kidney stone formation, while drinking water, lemon juice, tea and coffee reduce the risk of kidney stones.

Besides drinking water and safe enough without being accompanied by withholding urine also reduce the risk of bladder infection.

Dehydration is associated with bladder infections. Because of the volume and low water flow will increase the growth of bacteria in the urinary tract above and below.
Therefore, do not resist the urge to urinate and consume a lot of water is a good combination to prevent urinary tract infections, for the elderly above 65 years are particularly vulnerable to high water intake, this is easy because of hyponatremia (levels of low blood hatrium). Therefore, elderly people should consume 1.5 liters of water.

Water consumption as much as 2-3 liters per day and no more than 1.5 liters for the elderly plus restraint not to urinate is highly recommended in preventing the occurrence of stones and urinary tract infections and other health disorders.

Hairy Women

Mustache, beard and chest hair are usually owned by men only, but some women also have it. Hairy women is due to excess androgen hormones called hirsutism.

Hirsutism is a condition of excessive hair growth on body and face are usually owned by men but occurs in women. This is probably caused by excess hormones called androgens and its main hormone is testosterone. Besides heredity or ethnicity may also play a role, because the amount of hair that grows is determined by genetic factors.
Conditions of hirsutism can be considered as a symptom and not a disease, because the possibility of a sign of medical problems more serious, especially if developed more rapidly after puberty.

As quoted from Medicalnewstoday, Thursday (18/3/2010) sign of hirsutism is the growth of hair on the body pigmentation, rough and appear in places that are not commonly found on women, especially in the face, chest and back.

If hirsutism is caused by high androgen levels may show other signs such as deep voice, acne, balding, rough hair pigment, decreased breast size, clitoral enlargement and increased muscle mass. Should seek medical help if the situation worse and followed by periods of irregular periods.

Some risk factors can increase the likelihood of someone developing this condition is to have a family history of congenital adrenal hyperplasia or polycystic ovary syndrome and ethnic factors. Meditarenia ethnic women, the Middle East and South Asia are more likely to have idiopathic hirsutism.

Hirsutism itself does not lead to physical complications, but this hormone imbalance can lead to problems.

Hirsutism patients experienced more emotional problems, such as the stress of feeling less feminine, thus affecting the appearance disturb confidence and feel depressed because the condition is different from other people.

Treatment can be done to eliminate this excess hair through electrolysis therapy, laser therapy and drug therapy such as anti-androgen drugs, contraceptive pills and topical creams to inhibit hair growth.

Sleep Disorder Risk For Stroke

Sleep disturbance is one of the most common complaints found in patients who visited the doctor. It is estimated that each year 20% -40% of adults have difficulty sleeping and 17% of them in serious trouble.

The prevalence of sleep disorders tend to increase every year, it is also in accordance with increasing age and various causes. Research shows that sleep disorders increase the incidence of various diseases kardioserebrovaskuler. This is mainly related to disturbances in breathing during sleep (sleep disorder breathing).

Breathing disorders during sleep
There are 2 kinds of breathing patterns during sleep disturbance, ie Hypoapnea and apnea. Hypoapnea characterized by airway narrowing 50% -80% for more than 10 seconds and a decline in oxygen saturation of more than 3%.

While sleep apnea is characterized by the narrowing of the airways more than 80% for more than 10 seconds and a decline in oxygen saturation of more than 3%.
There are three types of sleep apnea is central sleep apnea, upper airway obstructive apnea, and forms a mixture of both.

Sleep apnea is a breathing disorder that occurs during sleep, which lasted for more than 10 seconds. Pathological sleep apnea say if the patient experienced episodes of apnea, at least five times in one hour or 30 episodes of apnea during the night. These periodic movements during chest and abdominal wall is very dominant.

Central apnea is common in old age, characterized by intermittent reduction in respiratory capacity due to decreased oxygen saturation. Central apnea is characterized by cessation of airflow and respiratory effort during sleep periodically, so that the movement of the chest and abdominal wall disappeared. It is possible damage to the brain stem or hiperkapnia.

Upper airway obstructive during sleep characterized by increased respiration during apnea, increased effort and chest muscles with the aim of the abdominal wall to force air in through the obstruction. This more severe disruption if the REM phase. Respiratory disorders are characterized by gasping for breath or snoring during sleep.

Snoring is a sound place 3-6 times and then disappeared, and repeated every 20-50 seconds. Apnea attacks when the patient does not snore. As a result of hypoxia or hipercapnea, causing more active respiration is activated by the formation retikularis and medullary respiratory center, with the result that the patient awake and respiration back to normal reflexes.

Both at the central or obstructive apnea, the patient is often awakened repeatedly at night, which is sometimes difficult to fall asleep again. These disorders are often characterized by headache or feeling uncomfortable in the morning. In children is often associated with congenital respiratory disorders. In the adult respiratory obstruction septal defect, hypothyroidism, or bradikardi, heart disorders, hypertension, and stroke.

OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) and stroke
Obstructive sleep disturbance is one form of stroke risk factors are new. Recent studies Dräger (2007) showed no increased risk of stroke by 2.52 times in people with sleep apnea. It is also associated with increased risk of hypertension in OSA patients.

OSA is often found in stroke patients who managed to live, as much as 63% of those who survive, having this disorder. More evidence has shown the existence of a causal link between sleep apnea and stroke.

Excessive fatigue during the day associated with sleep apnea can affect the results of post-stroke recovery. Excessive fatigue during the day can reduce the ability and motivation of stroke patients to continue to run the recovery program. As a result, training for recovery is not done regularly, inhibition of recovery and the results will be much worse.

How to handle?
Before looking for diagnosing the cause of a sleep disturbance, should be determined beforehand danlamanya type of sleep disturbance (duration of sleep disorder), by knowing the type and duration of sleep disturbance. In addition to helping identify the cause also can provide adequate treatment.

The diagnosis of sleep disorders facility established in the Laboratory-Based Treatment Overnight Sleep Study (Polysomnography Complete). The medical team will formulate guidelines appropriate measures the degree of sleep disturbance, patient selection, overall health status, and patient expectations.

Process and Human Death Signs

Death is a process end of life experienced by all living things just different time. What kind of death process which will be experienced by every living thing?
Not easy to predict exactly when someone will die. Death itself could be caused by illness, accident or other cause.

In normal conditions like a sick person will usually show symptoms that indicate that his life would soon be over in a few weeks as quoted from Mayoclinic:
1. Feeling restless. Someone will feel uneasy and difficult to sleep, otherwise he would often change positions during sleep due to anxiety
2. Withdraw. Someone does not want to get involved in social activities or doing his favorite activities.
3. Often sleepy. Someone will spend more time to sleep
4. Loss of appetite. A person will only eat and drink in small amounts and different from the usual.
5. Experiencing a pause when breathing. This usually happens when someone is asleep or awake.
6. Difficult to heal wounds. Injury or infection experienced difficulties to be healed
7. Swelling. In some areas swelling in the hands, feet or other body parts.

The process of dying began to occur when the body can not get needed oxygen to survive. Different cells will have a different mortality rate also, so the length of the process depends on the person dying cells are starved of oxygen.

While the brain needs oxygen in large quantities and has little oxygen reserve. So if the intake of oxygen is reduced, will result in cell death within 3-7 minutes.

Some of the signs displayed by the dying person is more sleep, it is to conserve the remaining energy in the body slightly. When the energy is lost, then someone will lose the appetite to eat or drink. The process of swallowing became difficult and will be very dry mouth, thus forcing people who were dying for a drink would make him choke.

Also dying person will lose control of the bladder and intestines, which often looks wet. People will feel confused, anxious and uneasy at not being able to breathe regularly. When the cells in the body begins to lose the connection, it will experience muscle spasms.

Death would be closer if the feet and hands felt cold and started a little blue due to the cessation of blood flow area. But in time they will increasingly spread to the upper body parts like arms, lips and nails. Also people are not responsive, though his eyes open but have a blank stare or do not look around.

After that breathing stops altogether and was followed by a stop of work of the heart, then the person is clinically dead because there is no circulation and reserve oxygen to reach cells in the body. But clinical death can be restored through the process of CPR (breathing assistance), transfusion or ventilator. But if the 4-6 minutes after clinical death there is no change, then it means the heart is not able to work anymore.

Because the heart is not working, it will automatically flow of blood and oxygen throughout the body and brain will also be stopped. Due to the lack of oxygen intake and blood to the brain, then in a matter of seconds your brain will die and that is where the end of the journey of a human life.

Sony, March 18, 2010, now faces costs related to these entertainment features.

Microsoft itself chose not burdened by the cost of these optical drives. Without a device costing about 100 dollars in it, Microsoft could sell it for 199 gaming console dollars. Cheaper than console games are offered complete with Sony Blu-ray drive.

Unlike Sony, which allows users to enjoy HD movies via Blu-ray, Microsoft brings HD movies and television shows through Xbox Live service, or via the Internet.

Although Blu-ray play a role in making expensive PlayStation 3, but the components are not the only one that makes the console prices skyrocketed.

The proof, as Sony presents the PlayStation 3 Slim, also with a Blu-ray drive, and then in August, the price could be reduced to 299 U.S. dollars. Sales also began to increase. With these conditions, many analysts now predict that Sony was the one who will win the competition in the console market. Not Microsoft or Nintendo

More than 50 Tablet PC will be Released in 2010

Launch iPad encourage rivals like Apple products this year
Launch Apple iPad in January and was pushed Apple rivals 'talkative' similar products this year.
An executive of the Arm - Intel's main rival companies in the field of mobile processors-predicted, this year will show no fewer than 50 devices tablet PCs worldwide.

"The first Tablet PC will appear in the second quarter up by collaborating with a number of operators," said Roy Chen, Mobile Computing ODM Manager in Arm, through a press conference in Taipei, was quoted by PC World, Wednesday, March 10, 2010.

In fact, Chan explained, the number of tablet PCs that would slide in the third quarter of this year there will be more. Not just a computer vendor, telecom operators will also be launching many similar devices this iPad.

Of course, as the chip maker, Arm benefit from this. Products and technical support will be much needed Arm by the tablet PC makers said.

At the Computex exhibition in Taipei Taiwan, Arm also introduced several new tablet device. The first tablet is a tablet besutan Taiwanese electronics company that also is an OEM (original manufacturer electonics) laptop in the world's second largest, is Compal Electronics.

Tablet PCs Compal has 7-inch screen with Nvidia Tegra chip technology core 2 Arm. Compal offers two versions of the tablet PC, one based on Android, and other Microsoft Windows CE.

Its size was divided into two versions, which is 7 inches and 10.1 inches. Interestingly, the two tablets have also been equipped with slot high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI), so that it can connect HD TV.

Another tablet, named Armadillo, which is based Android and smaller than a Compal.
Armadillos also use Arm's core technology on the chip made by Freescale Semiconductor. Armadillos also pinned Quickboot labeled software, to speed up the startup process.

LED Abandoned, Replaced by LCD 3D

Technology trends Light emitting diode (LED) on the LCD TV will slowly becoming obsolete with newer technology.
By mid-next year, Director of Sales, LG Electronics Indonesia Budi Setiawan said, LED technology is becoming obsolete and would welcome the 3D technology in the LCD TV. And, LG is ready bringing the first products in July.

Sony Corp. did not want to miss. Multinational electronics company from Japan is also going to launch LCD TV 3D technology in Tokyo in June. Unfortunately, no further information relating launch in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia.

Scheduled next June 10, Sony immediately release two different variants based on the size of LCD TV for the first 3D technology. That is, LED 46-inch LX900 and 40 inches. However, for the price, you might say very premium, U.S $ 3875 and U.S $ 3,000.

March 9, 2010, Panasonic Corp. also plans to launch a 3D LCD TV in the United States. Even to strengthen its sales, the producer who also came from Japan is holding Best Buy as an online and offline retailers.

However, Samsung Electronics became the first manufacturer to introduce this 3D technology globally. The reason, manufacturers of electronic devices from South Korea is being marketed ranks first 3D LCD TV in South Korea.
Samsung started producing LED and LCD panels compatible to 40 inches, 46 inches and 55 inches with Full HD 3D display 3D Active Glasses technology.

Based on data obtained by DisplaySearch, the 3D display market is expected to grow from U.S. $ 902 million in 2008 to U.S. $ 22 billion in 2018. Special 3D TV market, DisplaySearch estimates that the market will expand to U.S. $ 17 billion, with sales increasing from 200,000 units in 2009 to 64 million units in 2018 to come.

Mystery "River" in the Sea of Mexico

River in the sea. It is not scientifically possible. A diver, Anatoly Beloshchin, take a picture 'of the river in the sea' from the depth of 60 meters water cenote Angelita, Mexico.

At a depth of more than 30 yards a team of divers to find fresh water in the middle of the ocean water column. Conditions changed and divers returned to find the sea water began to pass 60 meters depth.

A few yards from the site will find a cave. At the bottom of the cave diving team discovered a river complete with trees and leaves that float in the water column.
It turned out that location is not the river, as seen on the mainland. However, the atmosphere was like a river complete with a layer of such colored water slightly brown.

But wait, it's not comes from brown fresh water. Mentioned, like the brown river water is the bottom layer of hydrogen sulfide gas. Gas is usually produced from sewage.
Overall, the team's divers found the conditions very surprising and amazing to look at.

"In the depths of 60 meters I found the water again. I saw a river, island, complete with falling leaves. But the river that we see is a layer of hydrogen sulfide gas," said Anatoly.

Sistem Operasi Symbian vs Android

Apa kabar Symbian? Symbian is an operating system (OS)designed for mobile devices and smartphones, with libraries, user interface, frameworks and reference implementations of common tools, originally developed by Symbian Ltd. Symbian adalah sistem operasi yang diperuntukkan bagi ponsel cerdas yang kini sedang menguasai dunia.

In 2008, the former Symbian Software Limited was acquired by Nokia and a new independent non-profit organisation called the Symbian Foundation was established. Symbian OS and its associated user interfaces S60, UIQ and MOAP(S) were contributed by their owners to the foundation with the objective of creating the Symbian platform as a royalty-free, open source software. The platform has been designated as the successor to Symbian OS, following the official launch of the Symbian Foundation in April 2009. The Symbian platform was officially made available as open source code in February 2010.

Android is a mobile operating system that uses a modified version of the Linux kernel. It was initially developed by Android Inc., a firm later purchased by Google, and lately by the Open Handset Alliance. It allows developers to write managed code in the Java language, controlling the device via Google-developed Java libraries.

Germanium Laser is The Latest Light Technology

The materials in lasers can be difficult and expensive to work with. A discovery at MIT may be changing all of that much sooner than we think as germanium laser technology is here and it is very real. The beauty of this latest technology is that there isn’t even a large call to change manufacturing specs as they exist because germanium can easily be incorporated into designs that are already in place.

Light technology is nothing new. In fact, it seems to be stealing all of the headlines these days. The scientific community is quickly figuring out that the sun can be used for a lot more than just heating up homes and powering cars. Light can be a very powerful resource if it is used properly. Researchers have been making great strides in many different areas regarding this kind of technology and the recent proving of indirect-band-gap semiconductors yielding practical lasers has everyone sitting up and taking notice.

A challenge that is being realized as computers and other electronic devices become more advanced is that the communication process is getting to the point that current technology is holding back advancements. Data is being streamed faster and faster and as the possibility of that rate increases, a new transfer of that data is going to have to be created.

This is where germanium laser technology has the chance to truly make a name. Instead of transporting date in manners that we now consider to be the norm, date transfer via laser beam would be more power efficient and much cheaper than turbo-charging the devices as they are now. Because of the speed and power that is needed, the cost of everything would go dramatically up if a different solution is not found.

For all of this to fall into place, germanium will now have to be integrated into the manufacturing process of lasers. What we would consider a standard laser today would be a very challenging fit to use for purposes such as this. However, by creating a germanium laser, the entire makeup of everything is changed and a laser beam that transfers data in now a reality.

Before anyone gets too excited, there is still progress to be made. Just like other earth-shattering discoveries that have been announced over the last few weeks, this process is hardly efficient enough to deliver on what is anticipated. That day will surely come though as the groundwork has been laid and it is now just a matter of the researchers fine tuning the process
