Intel Launches Second Generation Processor Core

The second generation Core processor released by Intel eventually leading International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA. Same name i3, i5, and i7, but using the latest processor technology, previously called Sandy Bridge.

Latest Intel processor equipped with a number of the latest technology. One that stands out is the ability to display video better. A number of related technologies embedded in it is an Intel Insider, Quick Sync Video, and Wireless Display 2.0.

In total there are 20 types of processors Intel's Sandy Bridge, which was launched, the following six series chipset, Centrino WiFi, and WiMax adapters. Each processor has a four-core CPU and will be integrated directly with a graphics processor.

The new new product will come out to the market next week are produced using 32-nanometer chip production technology. Intel also plans to release two versions of Core him in February with more competitive prices. With the new processors, there are already more than 500 models of laptop and desktop that will use it throughout this year 2011.

IBM Launches z196 processor speed of 5.2 GHz

Up to how fast the computer processor can 'run'? IBM's answer that question by launching a new processor called the z196.

Processor that is claimed to be the fastest processor in the world can 'run' with clock speeds up to 5.2 GHz. Imagine how much heat the processor.

Previously, AMD Phenom II X6 has a clock speed of up to 3 GHz. Intel Core 2 Duo E8700 works at a speed of 3.5 GHz. In fact, Tom's Hardware had time to refine the project 5 GHz clock-speed processors, with liquid nitrogen cooling system.

However, this time the processor Z196 does not require liquid nitrogen for cooling assistance. This four-core processors using 45 nanometer processing technology, containing up to 1.4 billion transistors in a cross-sectional area of 512 square mm.

Claimed to be able to handle more than 50 billion instructions per second computing. Processors of this zEnterprise class reportedly has cost the fund more than U.S. $ 1.5 billion.

As quoted from TechIT site, IBM's research department has collaborated with some of his clients during the three years to realize the creation of this proseseor.

However, this processor would certainly not we meet at the Alienware gaming laptops or other consumer laptops, because these processors will only be present on the mainframe computers used by large clients like banks, telco companies, as well as manufacturing industries.

The plan of this processor will begin to be marketed by IBM, commencing 10 September.

Processor Intel Core 2 Quad 2011 Retirement Year

As has been done before, to make room for new processors, Intel did discontinue its product is already long enough.

End of shelf-life Intel Core 2 Quad - quad-core processors - and Pentium E6300 - dual core processors - which are both built with 45 nanometer manufacturing process technology has been specified

Both processors are included in the list and discontinue production in 2011 will be discontinued in future years.

As quoted from TCMagazine, June 25, 2010, both versions of the tray and box versions of the two LGA 775 processors will still be available to be ordered by computer makers or retailers until December 24, 2010.

Buyer who gave the order on that date will receive their products on March 25, (box version) and June 24 (tray version) next year.

This time, the reason for Intel to stop production of the second processor is to prepare a place for newer processors, ie the version that was made with 32 nanometer manufacturing process.

As known, the Pentium E6300 has 2MB of L2 cache, 1066MHz FSB, speed of 2.8 GHz and has been present since Q2 2009. The Core 2 Quad Q9300 has 6MB of L2 cache, 1333MHz FSB, and the speed of 2.5 GHz has been circulating since Q1 2008.

AMD processors will Appeared in 109 Laptop

Competitor Intel, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is heading a super fast growth in the laptop market, thanks to the latest generation of chip-efficient that will be released soon.

According to inside sources familiar with the firm AMD said that the company's new microprocessor is expected to strengthen the main model 109 laptop in the next few months.

The company showed the best performance during the crucial selling season. Last year, AMD chips are only available in 40 model laptops.
"This is the first time we've seen so much attention on our notebooks," said the source.

While the shift in market share is not visible, but are typically more design wins wars sale, added the source.

Early signs of the newest line of chips that will be released next week, had received positive response from the PC manufacturer.

AMD has simplified the number of its bid under the Vision brand new, as well as an increase in battery life and performance.

On the first quarter of 2010, AMD represents a 12.1% sales worldwide mobile chips, according to IDC. While Intel's market share of over 87.8%.

Also AMD is also slowly trying to obtain a positive market share in recent years, both for desktop and netbook products in 2010, catch up on the lucrative server market, with the achievement at the end of the year 2009 with the share of 10.1% compared with 13, 4% in 2008.

"XIRKA" Processor from Indonesia

Indonesia scientist has succesfully developed WiMAX chipset called XIRKA System on chip. Be thought out by Adiono Trio, scientist of Bandung Technology Institute (ITB), the chipset is design to compatible with WiMAX technology or broadband wireless access. This chipset can be applied both in fixed and mobile WiMAX. WiMAX can be choice the communication network to the next time.

Asia Pacific Competitive Event, XIRKA successfull reach Asia Pacific Information Communication Technology Award (APICTA) on 2008 December with set aside participant the global industry from various country. At be a success Xirka processor, now Indonesia an one of country in "WiMAX Chipsets Producer Country Club" so far stand up US, France, Canada, Korea, and Japan.

XIRKA processor uniqueness is the ability to accommodate special requests for customization in order to create the best solution for our clients. This will enable any WiMAX equipment integrator and solution providers the ability to implement their own design and products for subscriber station (SS), mobile station (MS) and USB peripherals (including dongle and minicards).
