Your Microsoft® Exchange administrator can include Mail for Exchange users in the existing Exchange ActiveSync mailbox policy user group. Security settings defined in the Exchange ActiveSync mailbox policy are enforced for Mail for Exchange users through the ActiveSync connection and they cannot be disabled by the user. Mail for Exchange supports various levels of security settings to protect the information on the device from theft or loss. Among these functions are automatic device locking and wiping of the device memory after a specified number of wrong password attempts.
