Evidence Mars Could Be Human Colonies

Hypothesize that Mars could be the place where human beings live, getting closer to the truth.
European Space Agency or the European Space Agency (ESA) states the condition of the red planet suitable for life support - especially the fact that Mars has water content.

Hydrated silicate minerals found by the two satellites, ESA's Mars Express and Mars Reconnaissance owned by U.S. space agency, NASA's orbiting a star in the northern lowlands of Mars.

Found indications that water once flowed there. According to principal investigator for Mars from the University of Paris, Jean-Pierre Bibring, water flowed to the surface of Mars about four billion years ago and only lasted a few hundred years."Research shows water ever existed on Mars, but not in a big sea," said Bibring.

Evidence indicates, the Martian crust hydrated in the same way, both north and south. These latest findings contradict the results of American research team published last June 13 in the journal Nature Geoscience that said, the ocean covers a third of the surface of Mars, about 3.5 billion years ago.

"At that time, Mars has lost its atmosphere. Accordingly, the water is no longer stable in the liquid state at the surface," Bibring said."The flow of water can still flow, however, lack of water on the surface means there is no potential for the formation of sea level."

Added Bibring, pressure and temperature when water was not given an opportunity in a stable condition - the liquid state - on the surface. "Some water evaporates, while others went into the ground."

Water, Bibring said could remain on the surface for several days, or weeks. But does not millions of years later.

The researchers found water flowing on Mars a few hundred million years ago - when the sun melt the ice there.
Evidence about a dozen channels that are in the melt glaciers on Mars - scientists have admitted surprise, because the presence of water on Mars could say 'just' than previously thought.

"We think that the planet Mars is cold and dry completely. This fact will change the way we look at Mars," said Brown University planetary geologist, Caleb Fassett.

Processor Intel Core 2 Quad 2011 Retirement Year

As has been done before, to make room for new processors, Intel did discontinue its product is already long enough.

End of shelf-life Intel Core 2 Quad - quad-core processors - and Pentium E6300 - dual core processors - which are both built with 45 nanometer manufacturing process technology has been specified

Both processors are included in the list and discontinue production in 2011 will be discontinued in future years.

As quoted from TCMagazine, June 25, 2010, both versions of the tray and box versions of the two LGA 775 processors will still be available to be ordered by computer makers or retailers until December 24, 2010.

Buyer who gave the order on that date will receive their products on March 25, (box version) and June 24 (tray version) next year.

This time, the reason for Intel to stop production of the second processor is to prepare a place for newer processors, ie the version that was made with 32 nanometer manufacturing process.

As known, the Pentium E6300 has 2MB of L2 cache, 1066MHz FSB, speed of 2.8 GHz and has been present since Q2 2009. The Core 2 Quad Q9300 has 6MB of L2 cache, 1333MHz FSB, and the speed of 2.5 GHz has been circulating since Q1 2008.

Structural Levels of Organization in The Brain

The human nervous system may be viewed as a three-stage system, as depicted in the block diagram of figure Central to the system is the brain, represented by the neural (nerve) net in figure, which continually receives information, perceives it, and makes appropriate decisions. Two sets of arrows are shown in figure. Those pointing from left to right indicate the forward transmission of information bearing signals through the system. On the other hand, the arrows pointing from right to left signify the presence of feedback in the system. The receptor in figure convert stimuli from the human body or the external environment into electrical impulses that convey information to the neural net (brain). The effectors, on the other hand, convert electrical impulses generated by the neural net into discernible reponses as system outputs.

In the brain there are both small scale and large scale anatomical organization, and different functions take place at lower and higher levels. Proceeding upward from synapses that represent the most fundamental level and that depend on molecules and ions for their action, we have neural microcircuits, dendritic trees, and then neurons. A neural microcircuit refers to an assembly of syanpses organized into patterns of connectivity so as to produce a funtional operation of interest.

A neural microcircuit may be likened to a silicon chip made up of an assembly of transistors. The smallest size of microcircuits is measured in micrometers, and their fastest speed of operation is measured in milliseconds. The neural microcircuits are groupedto form dendritic subunits within the dendritic trees of inividual neurons. The whole neuron, about 100 micrometers in size, contains several dendritic subunits. At the next level of complexity, we have local circuits made up of nurons with similar of different properties, these neural assemblies perform operation characteristic of a localized region in the brain.

What is A Neural Network

Work on artificial neural network, commonly referred to as neural networks, has been motivated right from its inception by the recognition that the brain computers in an entirely different way from the conventional digital computer. The struggle to understand the brain owes much to the pioneering work of Ramon, who introduced the idea of nerons as structural constituents of the brain. Typically, neurons are five to six orders of magnitude slower than silicon logic gates; events in a silicon chip happen in the nanosecond range, whereas neural events happen in the millisecond range.

The brain is a highly complex, nonlinear, and parallel computer (information processing system). It has the capability of organizing neurons so as to perform certain computations (eg. Pattern recognition, perception, and motor control) many times faster than the fastest digital computer in existence today). Consider for example human vision, which is an information processing task. It is the function of the visual system to provide a representation of the environment around us and, more important, to supply the information we need to interact with the environment. To be specific, the brain routinely accomplishes perceptual recognition tasks in something of the order of 100-200 ms, whereas tasks of much lesser complexity will take days on a huge conventional computer.

A neural network is a massively parallel distributed processor that has a natural propensity for storing experiental knowledge and making it available for use. It resembles the brain in two respects:
1. Knowledge is acquired by the network through a learning process
2. Interneuron connection strengths known as synaptic weights are used to store the knowledge.
Neural networks are also referred to in the literature as neurocomputers, connectionist networks, parallel distributed processors, etc. Throughout the book we use the term neural networks; occasionally, the term “neurocomputer” or “connectionist network” is used.

Passive Smokers Disturb Mental Health

During this passive smokers are known to have contracted the risk of heart disease and lung cancer. But according to recent research, it turns out passive smokers also at risk of mental health disorders.

Scientists from University College London (UCL) found that passive smokers are exposed to smoke as much as 50 percent more likely affected by psychological distress, than those not exposed to smoke. The result, residents of a mental hospital for passive smokers, increased almost threefold during the last six years. As for smokers who were treated in a mental hospital increased nearly four-fold.

Doctor Hamer and colleagues from UCL examined 5560 adults who do not smoke, and 2595 adult smokers, who do not have a history of mental illness. The study answered questions about psychological distress and those who were treated in a mental hospital that has been tracked for six years.

X-51A hypersonic Waverider Break Speed Record

Fighter aircraft of the United States Air Force record-breaking hypersonic speed, with six mach - speed of the aircraft units - in three minutes more. Tests conducted in airspace off the coast of southern California, United States, recently.

In the release of his official site, a spokesman for the U.S. Air Force said the plane X-51A prototype missile-shaped Waverider released from Stratofortres B 52 bomber and flew for 200 seconds faster. Having successfully exceeded the target speed, the X-51A aircraft detonated Waverider automatically.

This test hypersonic Scramjet beat the previous record which can only survive 12 seconds, "said U.S. Air Force spokesman biacara." We are delighted with the success of the X-51A test. This is the first hypersonic mission. "

Researchers at the U.S. Air Force laboratories Charlie Brink described the success as a technological leap, the technology transfer as if the propeller plane into a jet engine during World War II past.

Along with that, U.S. Air Force continues to expand its war equipment to the civil aviation companies, including the X-51A aircraft Waverider. The aircraft was designed with companies and airlines Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne Boeing Co.. Planned, hypersonic aircraft is still undergoing testing three times again until the end of this year

Microsoft Windows 7 SP1

Microsoft has announced that the beta version of the first service pack for their latest operating systems, namely Windows 7 will be publicly available next month.

Mentioned, Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) will not bring an important new feature, but only a combination of the various updates that have been given via Windows Update and the additional improvements based on user input.

SP1 for Windows is very important for businesses that generally have not implemented the latest Microsoft operating system until the emergence of the first major update.

For information, as a bundle of updates, service packs also included rare. Windows XP, released in October 2001, only has three service packs. "Customers now can feel confident to implement Windows 7," said Schuster Gavriella.

According to Microsoft, since released last year, Windows 7 has sold 100 million licenses.

According to some reports, the operating system that has exceeded its operating system Windows Vista as the most widely used. Last month, according to research Janco Associates, Windows 7 is used by 14.6 percent of computer users. While Windows Vista is only 12.6 percent.

Wearing Emotions Silencer

Canadian scientists have succeeded in producing a smart clothing that can help the wearer overcome the psychological pressure.
The prototype garment is equipped the latest technology that can detect the emotional state of the user, then automatically sends a signal to the data center that will send which sends a means silencer emotions.

Clothes that are equipped with wireless sensors, LED screen, and built-in speaker on the hood. This outfit was created by Barbara Layne of Concordia University, Canada, and Janis Jefferies from Digital Studios, Goldsmiths College.

This outfit is able to detect the user to monitor mood symptoms generally arise when the sense of anxiety, such as body temperature and heart rate increases. We detected the user's mood, clothes automatically be connected to a data center that will send the entertainment media, including songs, motivational words, and images to give a sense of calm for the user.

Media will help users overcome the psychological condition caused by tension and emotional consequences of modern life. To change the user's mood, LED display that can be sewn on the shirt displays the text or simple drawings.

At the same time, speakers will be in steady music, sounds, or messages from friends or family that has been recorded previously.

Careful in Selecting an Insurance

Choosing the best insurance for yourself is actually easy. Maybe you have some considerations for choosing insurance, for example, large insurance premiums are paid every month, coverage, greater compensation, investments, etc. But actually there are two main things that must you consider in choosing insurance:
1. Insurance policy
2. Insurance claims

Insurance policy is a "contract" between the parties with your insurance company. All provisions are written here and legally binding nature. So look carefully, what the risk is borne, refunds, etc.

You should also know how to make an insurance claim. If you have a reliable insurance agent, even better. Agents act as your intermediary with the insurance company. So do not choose an insurance agent who only interested in commissions and then leave you, when required.

The Micron Change The Way We Travel

The carbon footprint that automobiles leave is about to change, and that change is going to happen much sooner than we think. While it is unlikely that the Micron will replace every car on the road, it will present a very interesting alternative to daily travel. This unique design is eye catching and more importantly, totally emissions free. Make no mistake about it, the Micron is the future of the automobile.

While it would be nice to think that the environmental problems the world is facing would wake people up and get them to carpool, most people still insist on driving their own car to work every single day. The need for independence is understandable and appreciated, but if most people are doing nothing more than going to work and going home, why continue to waste gas and hurt the environment?

These are the direct concerns that the Micron addresses. Being electric, the emissions issues are immediately settled and being so compact, the congestion on the road will clear up. Imagine 4 vehicles that can hold up to two people that can fit into a parking space of just one car. The amount of city congestion that would be alleviated is simply staggering to even think about. The days of having the SUV in the garage for nothing more than shopping trips may be soon upon us.

The Micron is still being tested and is currently scheduled to be released in 2012. Oddly enough, that is the same year that the Mayan calendar predicts will be the end of the world. While it is unlikely that the destruction that they have in mind will occur, the world as we know it is definitely changing. Instead of the end of the world, it could truly be a new beginning.
